Title: ☼ Moving house to the Philippines ... Possible ? ☼
Post by: 3000 on November 26, 2016, 09:05:56 PM
Hello,
Abandonment to move to the island of Reunion, Madagascar and also abandonment to Mauritius
Moving to the Philippines ... Possible ?

Within 2 years, I want to move my family to live in tropical heat.
We do not want heating!
Is there a place near the sea, for to rent a house (long time) / To live in safety /
With swimming pool, air conditioning, 4 or 5 rooms or +
With at least 1000 m2 of land.
All in a safe place ... quiet ... with small shops nearby, markets, etc ...
For info, we are 5 - 2 adults and 3 children (10/12/14) + 2 cats

What is the budget for this type of house? $ 1500 per month +/-?

 :)

I suggest Davao city, although I'm not from there. Most Filipinos there are kind and disciplined. :g186:

if you like heat, move to Brazil gm.. haha

$1500 is about R$5000. With this per month, you can get pretty good place in some housing complex for security  :) :) and languages are pretty similar. Portuguese and French  But tropical climate is not easy to stand. Problem is not only heat, it's changing a lot depending on the season. Sometimes we have 4 seasons in one day haha Beach towns look nice in here and you would love people haha crazy guys

Or you should consider Dubai. That place is very nice, hot and safe. If I could I would move there.

If I may ask GM 3000.  How did you find France or your last home, making you to look for another home, another safe place to stay?

Here we are well, the house is huge, but the climate is not yet the one sought.

We want 20 ° to 40 ° permanently. And in France, or in Switzerland, it's impossible. H ere winter = 0 ° to 12/15 °
In certain regions In Switzerland, or in France, possible 0 ° to -30 °

We have to search in hot countries, with sea ....  :g19:

I see :)

I was to recommend you a place to stay but since you prefer thats near by the sea, then I think I might have to suggest you to live in Palawan.  Its tropical and lots of beaches/seas there.  Im pretty sure your family will love it there.

Philippines is a good choice gm3k, Suggesting Central Visayas (Region VII)  Cebu City, anywhere here(im from cebu city anyway). Your budget suits the best places here or it maybe too much, good places are waiting for your family here. For sure you'll like here, you can also guarantee people's hospitality in terms of accommodation .Also if i'm not mistaken most of your players are from our country.  :) :g19:

As about Brazil you can stay here for 6 months without a visa, and of course you don't have to pay any taxes as a tourist. Later on I'm not really sure what is possible to do to get longer term visa.. In my case I've got family here so it was easy get for me. Got to check out your embassy's website, maybe e-mail or call them for further information. You don't have to pay any taxes as long as you don't work here and don't declare anything.
Only problem you can face here is that you will have to take out local documents for entire family if you are planing to stay for a long because your passport is worth nothing in here. They only accept local ID's and social insurance issues.

This is the last choice, I think it is the right ... Indeed all the criteria are respected. (Except for the € uro ... I would have preferred not to have the currency € uro) ...

We are looking for a house with swimming pool ...

Go to Tagum City, Davao or Mactan Island, Cebu. All in Philippines.

Not all people here are good in foreign language. However, due to our hospitality, MOST OF US will try our best to help foreigners regarding traffic routes and places to live.
